Schedule: 9:00am 10K RUN/WALK
Events: 10K Run/Walk for all ages - Children 13 and under must have adult supervision with them on the course. This is a family friendly event so families are encouraged to participate together. Strollers are allowed on the course but should seed themselves at the back of the starting pack. For the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed on the event course. Exceptions for service animals will be made on a case by case basis.
Course: Will be explained on race day with cones set up along course.

Awards:
Run: Awards to the first overall male and female winners. Trophies to the top three finishers in each age category in both the men's and women's divisions. Trophies for all age divisions 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Run is chip timed.
Walk: Participants will receive a participant medal upon completion of event. Walk is not chip timed. Walkers will be issued a non-chip number. Walk is open division.
All participants will receive a participant medal.

There are scholarships available to high school juniors and seniors who have participated in the Guajolote 10k events at least twice to attend Laredo College.

Timing:
Swift Timing will provide timing for the 10K Run. Swift Timing uses only state-of-the-art equipment. You will be issued a race bib with a disposable timing chip attached during Packet Pickup. You will not be asked to stand in a long line at the event waiting for someone to give you a shoe chip. You will also not be chased down by someone trying to cut-off your chip after the event.
